
The Syrian regime: the safe area will be under the "Syrian state"
ARK News: Assad's regime has entered the line of conflict over the planned safe zone on the Syrian-Turkish border in Syrian Kurdistan and its control, saying that it will only be "under the Syrian state."
Buthaina Sha’ban, an adviser to Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, said the pro-regime Al-Watan newspaper that: "During the past three years, the Constitutional Committee has not been formed because we are committed to our national principles and independent decision, and we will not allow anyone to interfere with our country's constitution, and the final word will be for Syrians, not hostile countries."
Regarding their alliance with Russia and Iran, Assad's adviser said that their alliance with both Russia and Iran is "strategic" that cannot be eliminated and will not be affected by the words of those who attack Iran in the interest of Israel.
On the safe area in the east of the Euphrates, Sha’ban said: "The safe area will only be under the Syrian state.
