The people of Amouda light their streets on their own expenses

ARK News: With a personal initiative and eight years after the public street in Amouda city in Syrian Kurdistan prevailing in the dark, a group of young men in the city on August 1, 2019, initiated of paying the cost for the lighting of the main road which connects the cities of Amouda and Qamishlo.
The young men who did not wish to reveal their names, and after their despair of evading the Syrian regime or the PYD management of lighting the street, they decided to donate the costs and lit the city at their own expense
