The Office of Women and Childhood at ENKS holds its regular meeting
ARK News: The Office of Women and Children in the Kurdish National Council held its regular meeting on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, in the office of the Kurdish National Council, in the presence of the Office's official (Arya Juma) and the members of the Office.
The meeting began with a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs and the immortal spirit of Barzani.
And then the political situation was discussed in the region, such as the French and American initiative and its impact on the political parties in the region in the hope of rapprochement and understanding between the Kurdish parties and reach a solution that serves the Kurdish issue.
The discussion also addressed Turkish threats and the establishment of a safe zone.
At the end of the meeting, a plan of action was put in place for developing women's work and strengthen their role in all areas, especially political ones, such as increasing their participation in conferences and decision centers and having a greater role in decision-making.
