ARK News: The city of Amouda, in Syrian Kurdistan, lost on Monday 29 July 2019, a prominent religious and social figure known among the Kurdish people.

The religious figure Saad Addin Sayda died on Monday morning in Amouda city at the age of 93.

The religious figure Saad Addin Sayda is considered one of the influential figures known in the Kurdish community, where he dedicated his life in resolving social and religious issues. He dedicated his life not only for the city of Amouda but also the destination of many of the different areas in the province of Hasaka to resolve their issues.

Saad Addin Sayda in addition to his religious weight and his knowledge of the issues and cases of society he was a lover of his nationality and his cause and he has many dialogues that adopt the Kurdish nationalism and his homeland Kurdistan.

The religious figure Saad Addin Sayda is the grandfather of Saad Abdul Baqi Sayda, one of the martyrs of the Amouda massacre. He is due to be buried in his hometown of Amouda.
