Ibrahim Biro to Saleh Muslim: Your Asayish threatened me of killing

Jul 27 2019

ARK News: Ibrahim Biro, a member of the Foreign Relations Office of the Kurdish National Council, said that the Asayish of the Democratic Union Party the (PYD) was the one who threatened to kill me.

In response to Saleh Muslim, "before I was arrested on 13/08/2016 I was exposed to many threats through the media close to the Democratic Union Party, and was arrested on the mentioned date and deported to Kurdistan region of Iraq, with the threat of death in the event of my return to Syrian Kurdistan. "

Biro also confirmed “this means that the only party that threaten me of killing is the Democratic Union Party the PYD".

Muslim in a dialogue in the Citizenship Forum in response to a question about the exile of Mr. Biro had said that “there was someone who was trying to abuse him to be accused of self-management, he was told that you need protection and that the Asayish will do so but he refused, and said: I do not admit you nor your protection to me, so Asayish told him that there is someone who wants to kill you if you want that you have to go and we do not accept to kill you at us, and in spite of that we consider it wrong behavior and they should protect him and not get him out of his land "

Biro added "what Mr. Saleh Muslim is talking about happened five months after my departure when former US Ambassador Peter Calbright intervened in an attempt to persuade them to my return, where I was then the head of the Kurdish National Council " explaining that "their response was through Mr. Calbright," he said. "We accept his return on condition that he be under our protection and watch completely."

Biro concluded "then I rejected this shameful offer because I cannot hand over my will and my political decision to the one that threatens to kill me and we are politically divided.”
