The new head of the National Coalition for the Forces of the Revolution and the Syrian opposition, Anas al-Abda said that the safe area will increase the proportion of the geography they run.

In a press conference yesterday on the latest field and political developments, al-Abda said that the areas currently liberated are 10-12% of the area of Syria. They include Idlib, Aleppo countryside, northern Hama and part of Lattakia, and this percentage will increase if the safe area is formed in the east of Euphrates.

Regarding the latest developments on the safe area in Syria, a special source told ARK News that the United States of America had offered to build the safe area of 7 to 14 kilometers deep along the Turkish-Syrian border.

Turkey had proposed the borders of the safe zone it plans to build, which was at a depth of 32 km along the Turkish-Syrian border, and Turkey announced that it is not satisfied with the American proposal.
