The evacuation of some military headquarters in Afrin

ARK News: The armed factions in the city center of the Kurdish region of Afrin and some towns and villages belonging them evacuated the military headquarters, while the real destination is not clear to them and there were contradictory reports about the reasons for the evacuation of these headquarters.

Local informed sources from the region said on Monday 22 July 2019 that the armed factions are evacuating military headquarters in some neighborhoods, towns, and villages in the region. According to the sources, the factions evacuated some of the headquarters in the city center of Afrin in Mahmuodiya, Ashrafiya, Zidiya neighborhoods in addition to the Old Afrin.

In the towns and villages, the sources pointed out that the factions evacuated some of the headquarters in the center of Shiye town and its affiliated villages and 4 headquarters from Qantare village of Mabata town and some of the headquarters in the village of Alke of Shara town.

According to local sources and the pages that monitor the situation in Afrin that after the evacuation of military headquarters, the destination was not clear so far, but they confirmed that the factions went out of the region.

Observers say they are likely to be directed to the hot spots as a preparation for a possible war by the Turkish government on the areas under the control of Syria Democratic Forces QSD as Manbij, Tall Rifaat and areas in Syrian Kurdistan as Sari Kaniye, Gire Spi and others.
