The Student Union honors the top students at the level of the schools of Erbil province

ARK News: Kurdistan Region Branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Students & Youth Union of Democratic Kurdistani – West yesterday on 15 July 2019 held a ceremony to honor the top students of Syrian Kurdistan in the schools of the Kurdistan Region in the province of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

The ceremony was attended by a delegation from the Office of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Vice President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party president Nechirvan Barzani, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc, Omid Khoshnaw in the Parliament of Kurdistan, , a delegation from the secretariat of the Kurdistan Students Union and its branches, the official of the Kurdistan Popular organizations of the Kurdistan Party Branch 2, the head of the Arras Committee for Teachers, a delegation from the Kurdish National Council, leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, the directorates of education in Erbil, and a delegation of the BCF directors of refugee camps.

The concert began of a minute of silence with the Kurdish national anthem (Ay Raqib) followed by the words: A speech delivered by Eng. Ahmed Mohammed Amin, official of Kurdistan region branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union of Democratic Kurdistani – West, in which he welcomed the guests and offered congratulations to our dear students and wished them more excellence and success, a speech on behalf of the General Education in Erbil, the speech of the Secretariat of the Union of students of Kurdistan, and a speech on behalf of outstanding students and then all school principals were honored for their efforts in providing support to our students and thanked them for that, followed by a musical performance presented by the artist Tayar Ali and the artist Shinda Basri singing some songs and then three top students were honored at the level of schools in the province of Kurdistan (ninth, twelfth) scientific and literary branches, where the number of students was 80 students wishing them top ranks.
