Local Council for Sri Kaniye city
ARK News: A Local Council for the city of Seri Kaniye and its countryside in Syrian Kurdistan was announced in the Turkish city of Ceylan Pinar.
A group of refugees from the Sari Kaniye region met on 27.01.2019, in the Turkish city of Ceylan Pinar, and they announced a local council consisting of several offices and a council chairman.
According to the final statement of the meeting, the Council will manage the area of Sari Kaniye after the removal of militants from the Democratic Union Party the PYD.
The announcement of this council comes at a time when it is talking about the establishment of a safe area on the border with Turkey, with a depth of 32 km.
