ARK News: The Democratic Union Party imposes fines in its areas of control over every car that does not carry the special plates issued by its administration, while many of the cars of its institutions, cars of leaders and officials carry digital plates belonging to the Syrian regime.

The management of the PYD imposed on owners of vehicles in its areas of control to change their digital plates belonging to the Syrian regime and to put their own digital plates, and anyone who violates this decision will be fined, while people are watching cars daily in the cities and towns of Syrian Kurdistan belonging to institutions or personalities belonging to the PYD carrying digital plates belonging to the Syrian regime.

A driver from Qamishlo city, who preferred not to be named, told ARK that he was fined 15,000 Syrian pounds at a PYD checkpoint because his car was carrying a plate belonging to the Hasaka governorate issued by the Syrian regime.
