Abnormally high prices of animals meat in Qamishlo city

ARK News: The markets of Qamishlo city witnessed in increasing in the prices of animal meat, which raises the discontent of citizens and their dissatisfaction as traders and sponsored by the PYD sell meat outside of Syrian Kurdistan at high prices.

A special source confirmed to the site of News ARK: Because of the lack of livestock as a result of the burning of agricultural lands, and exporting out of Syrian Kurdistan, and since a period of time in the markets of Qamishlo city witnessed an increasing in prices of animal meat, where the price per kilo between 4500 and 5500 Syrian pounds.

Regarding in the rise of meat prices citizens of Syrian Kurdistan and Qamishlo city expressed their outrage by saying: The number of livestock in continuous shortages, especially after the burning of agricultural lands, which were a source of grazing on which livestock depend, adding that the traders and sponsored by the PYD are transporting cattle to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, where they are sold at high prices there.
