Afrin .. Al-Amshat imposes $ 3000 on a woman in return for keeping her in her own house
ARK News: A Human Rights Organization in the Kurdish region of Afrin said that the Al-Amshat militia had imposed $ 3,000 on a Kurdish woman to stay in her house, while the other factions imposed taxes on the Kurdish farmers by 10% of their agricultural products such as wheat and barley.
The Human Rights Organization in Afrin said in its report:
ARK News: In recent times, an unknown environmental phenomenon has been spread to date in the agricultural lands belonging to both Bulbul and Rajo towns(Bulbul _ Za’re, Khulalka, Ali Bag, Beke, Shingelle, Maidana, Jala, Chaqmaqa), which cause damage to agricultural crops and fruit trees until the forest of them. In addition to the damage caused to public health of the citizens, therefore, we urge all citizens to follow up this phenomenon with the Local Councils in order to provide the necessary drugs to combat this phenomenon and treat it before it gets worse. "
In Qarmitlq village of Shiye town, the Organization noted that on 18/06/2019, armed militias threatened the resident 50-year-old Sabriya Darwish (Jamal Rashid's wife) by expelling her from her own house if she refused to pay a sum of $ 3,000 for her staying and to settle the families of the gunmen and their relatives instead which led to the payment of the full amount for keeping her home.
In the Jenderes town, the Organization referred to the violations, saying that the factions controlling some of the villages of Jenderes as (Kifriye-Kafarzite-Qille-Qujima) and Jomme Plain villages generally carry out of imposing the royalty on the farmers for wheat and barley fields and force them to pay 10%, this is done by informing Mukhtars about the collection of the royalties, but the Mukhtars refused to comply with their decisions and asked them to collect the royalties themselves.
As part of a series of violations in Afrin region, Afrin city witnessed a mine explosion yesterday morning in the car of one of the gunmen in the western neighborhood and the operation adopted by the PYD militants.
