President Barzani meets with the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria
ARK News: A delegation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Syria (KDP-S) met with the Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani on Thursday in Erbil where they discussed the latest developments on the ground in Syria.
The KDP-S leaders briefed Barzani about their political involvement in Syrian Kurdistan as well as the current challenges faced by the Kurds in Syria, and they also thanked Barzani for his continued support to the Kurds in Syria since the beginning of the crisis in the neighboring country and the coming of Da’esh.
Barzani delivered a speech during the meeting and reiterated his concern over the future of Kurds in Syria, and valued the courage of the Kurds and the continued efforts by the KDP-S to defend the Kurdish cause in Syria.
