About the disaster of crop fires

ARK News: With the beginning of the summer harvest season of this year 2019, the fires began to consume the livelihoods of people and included large areas in a daily event repeated in more than one village and town in the regions of Aljazeera and Kobani in Kurdistan of Syria, where the areas that have been exposed to fires about forty thousand hectares, which leaves no range for doubt about entering dirty hands that manage and carry out such heinous crimes that target citizens in their children's wealth and in the wealth of the country, in addition to the loss of billions of Syrian pounds, many of the victims and innocent lives had gone who had tried to combat the fires and extinguish them.

That what happened was not far from the speculation of the people in this great season, especially as they live the repercussions of wars and armed conflicts and terror and extremist groups with their names and amid the pleading of disputes and the atmosphere of sedition, which wants to raise them more than one party, the self-management failed to provide the minimum protection requirements, prevent harm, fires and prosecute the perpetrators. At a time when there was no public movement and political activity, they did not hesitate to pursue and arrest young people, even during the harvest season, to help their families and taking them to their compulsory recruitment.

The Kurdish National Council, which shares peoples’ suffering of what happened to affected brothers and their children, the Council bears the PYD the responsibility of disregarding the interests of the people and their property in the danger of those who prey on the children of our people, and also appeals to the international coalition to carry out its duty to fight fires and protect the citizens. It also calls upon the United Nations, international and humanitarian organizations, the European Union and the friendly countries of the Syrian people to provide assistance and aids to those affected and to compensate them, and calls upon the people of the region to maintain civil peace and promote a culture of coexistence and standing together in the face of those who want to tamper with it.
