Last Batch of YPG Forces Leaves Manbij city

ARK News: The last unit of the Popular Protection Units (YPG) withdrew from Manbij on Sunday.
The withdrawal came after an agreement between Turkey and US on moving the Kurdish fighters out of the town as Ankara is concerned with their presence in the areas close to its border.
“The last batch of (YPG) military advisers completed its withdrawal on July 15, 2018, after completing their mission of military training and preparation of our forces…,” Reuters quoted a statement by the Manbij Military Council.
The announcement comes after the announcement of "Washington and Ankara" to reach a road map on the issue of the relationship between the two parties for more than a year, and the announcement of Turkish Foreign Minister "Jawishoglu" that the road map includes the withdrawal of Syrian Democratic Forces within six months, at a time when "Sharfan Darwish," the spokesman of the military council in Manbij denied and had no knowledge of any details about this agreement.
It is worth mentioning, that Turkish forces have lately launched patrolling operations on the outskirt of Manbij in accordance with an agreement between Ankara and Washington.
