Afrin: A night demonstration for Arab settlers
ARK News: The city center of Afrin witnessed on Monday 27 May 2019 a demonstration by Arab settlers condemning the appointment of Mukhtar from Kurdish opponent to manage their affairs.
Local sources said dozens of Arab settlers took part in a night demonstration at Nawroz roundabout Rajo Road, condemning the decision to appoint Mukhtar from Kurdish opponent to manage their affairs.
According to the videos obtained by the ARK Media Foundation that the Arab settlers raised slogans such as (No to blur our identity) and (The offices of the displaced represent us).
The relevant authorities in Afrin issued a decision a few days ago to close the offices of the displaced in Afrin and appoint Kurdish Mukhtars to conduct and manage their affairs.
The displaced offices also issued a statement condemning the decision, saying that this prevented them from returning to their origin homes and places.
