النرويج تقدم أكثر من 2 مليون دولار كمساعدات لسوريا
كشف وزير التنمية الدولية النرويجي عن تقديم بلاده دعماً مالياً إضافياً لسوريا، وذلك بعد زيارته دمشق أمس الخميس.
قال آسموند أوكروست وزير التنمية الدولية النرويجي: "إنّ الشعور بالأمل الذي عبّر عنه الشعب السوري وسط الدمار هو أبرز ما في الأمر، وستُقدّم النرويج تمويلاً إضافياً بقيمة 20 مليون كرونة نرويجية (قرابة مليونين و300 ألف دولار أميركي) لدعم الجهود الإنسانية للأمم المتحدة في سوريا. وسيرفع هذا الدعم النرويجي الإجمالي لسوريا بحلول عام 2025 إلى ما يقارب 400 مليون كرونة نرويجية".
ووفق تقرير أورده "مكتب تنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية" (أوتشا)، فقد اطلع وزير التنمية النرويجي خلال زيارته سوريا على الدمار الواسع الذي خلفته 14 عاماً من الحرب. ووفقاً لتقديرات الأمم المتحدة، يحتاج قرابة 16 مليوناً من سكان البلاد حالياً إلى مساعدات إنسانية عاجلة.

عراقجي: إيران لن تقبل بأي اتفاق مع الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية
كشف وزير الخارجية الإيراني، عباس عراقجي، أن بلاده لن تقبل بأي اتفاق مع الولايات المتحدة إذا أصرّت واشنطن على مطلب "التخصيب الصفري" لليورانيوم.
قال وزير الخارجية الإيراني، عباس عراقجي اليوم الجمعة 23 أيار 2025، في تغريدة نشرها عبر منصة "إكس" قبل توجهه إلى العاصمة الإيطالية إن "معادلة الاتفاق النووي بسيطة: سلاح نووي صفر = لدينا اتفاق. تخصيب صفر = لا اتفاق. لقد حان وقت اتخاذ القرار".
وجاءت تصريحات عراقجي قبيل انطلاق الجولة الخامسة من المفاوضات غير المباشرة بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، والتي ستُعقد في روما، حيث يرأس الوفد الإيراني وفدًا عالي المستوى يضم خبراء في السياسة والقانون والاقتصاد.
من جانبها أكدت وكالة "مهر" الإيرانية أن عراقجي غادر طهران صباح الجمعة متوجهًا إلى روما، وسط أجواء مشحونة وتوترات متصاعدة في الملف النووي، خصوصاً بعد أن اعتبرت طهران العقوبات الأميركية الجديدة "تقويضاً مباشرا لفرص الدبلوماسية".

Damascus: General Security Refuses to Disclose Fate of Dozens of Alawite Detainees
ARK News.. A Syrian human rights source has revealed that the fate of dozens of individuals from the Alawite community remains unknown weeks after their arrest by security forces and allied militias in a neighborhood of Damascus.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 30 Alawite civilians have been missing for approximately 45 days following their detention by security personnel and pro-government forces in the Qadam district of the capital.
The source reported that the arrests occurred on March 7 without the presentation of official warrants, coinciding with unrest in Syria’s coastal region.
Despite repeated pleas from the detainees’ families, Syria’s General Security Directorate has refused to disclose any information regarding their whereabouts or legal status.
The continued silence has fueled growing concern and frustration among relatives, who say they have received no updates or assurances from the authorities about the detainees’ wellbeing or location.

German Outlet Highlights the Rising Threat of Foreign Fighters in Syria
ARK News.. The German news platform Deutsche Welle Arabic has drawn attention to the growing threat posed by foreign fighters in Syria, amid escalating tensions between the newly formed interim government led by Ahmad al-Sharaa and extremist groups—chief among them the Islamic State (ISIS), which has recently intensified its hostile rhetoric and openly called for attacks against the new regime.
According to the report, ISIS has been actively encouraging foreign fighters to turn against the interim government, labeling its leader, Ahmad al-Sharaa, as a “traitor to the cause,” a “disbeliever,” a “servant,” and “submissive to U.S. President Donald Trump,” as published in the group’s latest weekly bulletin.
The German outlet also highlighted that this antagonism is not new. ISIS has long maintained a tense relationship with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the group originally founded and led by al-Sharaa under the name Abu Mohammad al-Jolani. Between 2012 and 2013, HTS was briefly aligned with the so-called Islamic State before shifting allegiance to al-Qaeda.
After severing ties with al-Qaeda in 2016, HTS spent nearly a decade engaged in direct conflict with ISIS in parts of Syria under its control. Thus, ISIS’s harsh criticism of al-Sharaa’s more moderate political direction comes as no surprise, the report notes.
Deutsche Welle also reported that ISIS is now explicitly calling on disaffected foreign fighters to defect from the Sharaa-led government. Those who are frustrated with al-Sharaa’s diplomatic outreach to the United States are being urged to join the Islamic State instead.
Commenting on the matter, Aaron Zelin, a researcher at the Washington Institute, told Deutsche Welle that it remains difficult to gauge the overall importance of foreign fighters to Syria’s current security forces, largely because Syrians significantly outnumber them.
However, he noted that some foreign fighters hold key roles. “For example,” Zelin explained, “Uyghur fighters now serve as Ahmad al-Sharaa’s personal security detail. They are essentially his protectors because he trusts them and views them as comrades-in-arms from the fight against Assad.”
This evolving dynamic raises serious concerns about security and stability in Syria’s complex and fragmented post-war landscape.

Faisal Youssef: We Are Optimistic About Joint Kurdish Action

The official spokesperson of the Kurdish National Council (KNC) in Syria, Faisal Youssef, expressed optimism regarding ongoing joint Kurdish efforts, affirming that the outcomes of the Kurdish Unity and Position Conference have become an integral part of the collective mindset of the Kurdish people in Syria.
In a post on his personal Facebook page, Youssef stated: “The outcomes of the Kurdish Unity and Position Conference have become an inseparable component of the intellectual and political fabric of the Kurdish people in Syria, their political movement, and their allies.”
He further noted that this qualitative shift, with its noble values, now represents a collective responsibility—one that must be actively implemented on a daily basis. “The goal,” he said, “is to translate these values into tangible practices, beginning with the formation of a joint delegation as soon as possible, along with the necessary organizational frameworks that will enable us to advance Kurdish unity toward the realization of a genuine national partnership in the country.”
Youssef concluded: “We are optimistic about the path of joint Kurdish action and remain committed to strengthening its foundations and fostering bonds of solidarity with all national forces for a brighter, more prosperous future for Syria.”

PM Masrour Barzani: Trump Administration Supports Energy Agreements Between Kurdistan and U.S. Companies
ARK News.. Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has reaffirmed that signing energy agreements with American companies serves the interests of both the Kurdistan Region and Iraq as a whole, stressing that these deals aim to enhance public services for citizens.
In a press statement on Thursday, May 22, 2025, Barzani said that no party should object to Kurdistan signing energy deals with U.S. firms, emphasizing that such agreements are beneficial to the broader Iraqi landscape, not just Kurdistan.
“We held a very constructive meeting and talks with the U.S. Secretary of Energy and received clear support from the Trump administration,” Barzani stated. “They are prepared to back these two agreements and continue engagement across all levels.”
The Prime Minister underscored the importance of U.S.-Kurdistan relations, adding, “We need the Trump administration’s support now more than ever. Today, we are respected as a strategic ally of the United States, and we look forward to taking this relationship to a higher and more advanced stage.”
Regarding the energy deals, Barzani clarified: “We are solely responsible for the decisions we make. We have decided to develop the energy sector in the Kurdistan Region, and undoubtedly, this will benefit all the people of Iraq and Kurdistan. How others interpret these agreements is entirely up to them.”
He also expressed hope that all parties, including the federal government in Baghdad, would play their part in resuming Kurdistan’s oil exports, highlighting that oil sales would lead to increased revenues and serve mutual interests.

Kurdistan Democratic Party–Syria and Kurdistani Vanguard Party Discuss Latest Political Developments in the Region
ARK News.. On Thursday, May 22, 2025, senior representatives of the Kurdistan Democratic Party–Syria (KDP-S) and the Kurdistani Vanguard Party held a meeting in Qamishli to exchange views on the latest political developments in the region.
The meeting took place at the Western Office of the KDP-S, where party secretary Mohammad Ismail received a delegation from the Kurdistani Vanguard Party headed by Dr. Ismail Hassaf.
Discussions centered on the outcomes of the recent Kurdish Unity Conference, with particular emphasis on the Kurdish agreement that emerged from it. Both sides underscored the importance of Kurdish unity and the need to strengthen mechanisms for joint cooperation in pursuit of the Kurdish people’s legitimate national rights.
The two parties also stressed the need to reinforce the role of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and highlighted the importance of continuing such meetings to bridge differences and enhance unified national action in the face of ongoing challenges.
During the meeting, the delegations exchanged views on the broader political landscape in the region.

أمريكا توجه رسالة شديدة اللهجة إلى إيران
افاد تقرير اعلامي نقلاً عن مصادر عراقية رفيعة المستوى، أن نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء العراقي ووزير الخارجية فؤاد حسين، حمل مؤخراً، إلى القيادة الإيرانية رسالة من الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، بخروج الفصائل المسلحة من مواقعها في العراق خلال أسبوعين.
نقلت وكالة (eremnews) عن المصادر التي تعمل في الخارجية العراقية، قولها إن "الرسالة الأمريكية لطهران ضمت في محتواها فتح إيران لـ 31 موقعاً عسكرياً، ومنشآت نووية، ومراكز بحثية للتفتيش من جانب الولايات المتحدة خلال الأسابيع المقبلة، وقدمها حسين إلى المسؤولين الإيرانيين خلال زيارته".
وحسب المصدر أن المصادر أكدت على أن "الرسالة نبهت إلى وجود اتجاه لتصعيد أمريكي على إيران سيتحدد إن كان جزئياً أم كلياً خلال الفترة المقبلة، وذلك بحسب مدى التجاوب مع هذه الرسالة من عدمه وسرعة تنفيذ ما جاء بها".
وجاء في الرسالة، بحسب المصادر، أن "عملية تفتيش تلك المواقع من قِبل خبراء أمريكيين منفصلة تماماً عن ما يجري من مفاوضات بين واشنطن وطهران للوصول إلى اتفاق نووي بوساطة عُمانية".
موضحة أن "واشنطن نقلت هذه الرسالة إلى بغداد حتى يقدمها الوزير فؤاد حسين خلال زيارته إلى إيران المقررة سلفاً".
وقالت المصادر إن "ما جاء من شروط قاطعة في الرسالة الأمريكية إلى طهران نتج عنها علو نبرات المسؤولين الإيرانيين، مؤخراً، والتي خرجت حول رفضهم المساس بحقوقهم في عملية "تخصيب اليورانيوم" على الرغم من أنه كانت هناك تفاهمات تُجرى في الجولة الأخيرة بين المفاوضين الأمريكيين والإيرانيين حول الوصول إلى نقطة وسط في ملف التخصيب".
وكان مسؤولين عراقيين كبار قد اجتمعوا مع مسؤولين في مجلس الأمن القومي الأمريكي بواشنطن، بناءً على دعوة وجهت لهم، لترتيب عملية منتظرة تتعلق بالفصائل المسلحة في العراق.
وبحسب مصادر دبلوماسية، فإن الهدف من هذه الاجتماعات الوقوف على بعض الأوضاع الخاصة بتواجد الفصائل المسلحة في مواقع عدة في العراق، ومدى قدراته التسليحية في بغداد.
وبينت المصادر في وقت سابق، أن هناك عملية مرتقبة من جانب الولايات المتحدة تجاه قوة الوجود الإيراني في العراق، وأن هناك تنسيقاً أمريكياً مع جهات عراقية لوضع خطة للحفاظ على المؤسسات الحكومية والدواوين من أي قوات قد تعمل على احتلال مواقع حكومية في حال اتخاذ بغداد أيّ إجراءات خلال الفترة المقبلة.

أكد الناطق الرسمي للمجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا بأنه متفائل بالعمل الكوردي المشترك وأصبحت مخرجات كونفرانس وحدة الصف والموقف الكوردي جزء لا يتجزأ من المنظومة الفكرية والذهنية لأبناء الشعب الكوردي في سوريا.
قال فيصل يوسف الناطق الرسمي للمجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا على صفحته الشخصية في موقع التواصل الاجتماعي (الفيسبوك): "أصبحت مخرجات كونفرانس وحدة الصف والموقف الكوردي جزءًا لا يتجزأ من المنظومة الفكرية والذهنية لأبناء الشعب الكوردي في سوريا وحركته السياسية وأصدقائه".
وأضاف يوسف: هذا التحوّل النوعي بقيمه النبيلة بات مسؤولية جماعية، يُعمَل بها يوميًا، بهدف ترجمتها إلى ممارسات فعلية تؤسس لخطوات عملية، بدءًا بتشكيل وفد مشترك في اقرب وقت ، وما يستتبع ذلك من ضوابط تنظيمية تُمكّن من السير بالوحدة الكوردية نحو آفاق تحقيق شراكة وطنية حقيقية في البلاد".

أمريكا تعين صديقا مقربا لترامب مبعوثا خاصا إلى سوريا
أفادت مصادر دبلوماسية أن أمريكا عينت توماس باراك، سفيرها الحالي لدى أنقرة مبعوثاً خاصاً إلى سوريا.
وفق قناة العربية إن القرار الرسمي بتعيين توماس باراك السفير الحالي لأمريكا في تركيا والصديق الشخصي للرئيس دونالد ترامب، سيصدر بعد أيام وان توماس بدأ بالفعل بالتنسيق مع السلطات الانتقالية السورية قبل البدء بمهامه.
وحسب المصدر أن توماس باراك يملك خبرة واسعة في التعامل مع الملف السوري، وأنه سيتصرف كمراقب لواشنطن في سوريا.
