أكّد الملياردير إيلون ماسك تنحيه من منصبه في إدارة الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب حيث قاد طوال أشهر وزارة أطلق عليها اسم "هيئة الكفاءة الحكومية" بهدف خفض الإنفاق الفدرالي.
كتب إيلون ماسك في منشور على منصته ( إكس ) للتواصل الاجتماعي أنّه "مع انتهاء فترة عملي كموظف حكومي خاص، أود أن أشكر الرئيس دونالد ترامب على فرصة الحد من الإسراف في الإنفاق".
وأضاف ماسك أنّ "مهمة هيئة الكفاءة الحكومية ستتعزز بمرور الوقت، حيث ستصبح أسلوب حياة في جميع أنحاء الحكومة".

Details of the Kurdish National Council Parties Meeting in Syria
ARK News.. With the participation of Mohammad Ismail, President of the Kurdish National Council (KNC), and members of its Executive Committee, the Kurdish National Council parties in Syria held their regular meeting in the city of Qamishlo on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
During the meeting, President Mohammad Ismail discussed recent developments in the region and the formation of a joint Kurdish delegation to travel to Damascus.
Speaking to Ark News about the meeting, KNC spokesperson Faisal Youssef said:
"This was a routine and consultative meeting, yet significant as it was the first one held following the Kurdish Unity and Common Position Conference, which took place on April 26."
Youssef added:
"We are taking practical steps based on the foundation laid by the conference—specifically regarding unity of ranks and political stance. Our efforts are focused on forming a unified Kurdish delegation as soon as possible. The names of the delegation members and the date of their trip to Damascus for negotiations on Kurdish rights will be announced soon."

نيجيرفان بارزاني وماركو روبيو يؤكدان على الاستقرار والسلام في العراق وسوريا
تلقى رئيس إقليم كوردستان نيجيرفان بارزاني، مساء يوم الأربعاء 28 أيار 2025، اتصالاً هاتفياً من وزير الخارجية الأمريكي ماركو روبيو.
وفق بيان صادر عن رئاسة إقليم كوردستان، أكد الجانبان على أهمية تعزيز العلاقات الاستراتيجية بين الولايات المتحدة وإقليم كوردستان، وبحثا التعاون في المجالين الاقتصادي والطاقة، إلى جانب التأكيد على أهمية استمرار التنسيق بينهما لدعم الاستقرار والسلام في العراق وسوريا والمنطقة بشكل عام.
وأضاف البيان أن وزير الخارجية الأمريكي شكر رئيس إقليم كوردستان على دوره وجهوده في معالجة القضايا الخلافية بين الحكومة الاتحادية وحكومة إقليم كوردستان من خلال التفاهم والحوار البنّاء.
وحسب البيان، أكد ماركو روبيو أن دعم أمريكا لإقليم كوردستان يُعد مبدأً أساسياً في إطار العلاقة الاستراتيجية الأمريكية مع العراق، مضيفاً أن نيجيرفان بارزاني بدوره عبّر عن شكره وتقديره للولايات المتحدة لدعمها العراق وإقليم كوردستان.

فحوى اجتماع أحزاب المجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا
بحضور محمد إسماعيل رئيس المجلس الوطني الكوردي وأعضاء هيئة رئاسة المجلس الوطني الكوردي، عقدت أحزاب المجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا اجتماعها الاعتيادي في مدينة قامشلو يوم الأربعاء 28 أيار 2025.
خلال الاجتماع تحدث رئيس المجلس محمد إسماعيل عن آخر المستجدات في المنطقة وعن تشكيل الوفد الكوردي المشترك للذهاب إلى دمشق.
وحول فحوى الاجتماع قال فيصل يوسف الناطق الرسمي للمجلس الوطني الكوردي لموقع آرك نيوز: "كان الاجتماع اعتيادي وتشاروي له خصوصية وأول اجتماع بعد كونفرانس وحدة الصف والموقف الكوردي، الذي انعقد في 26 نيسان الماضي".
وأضاف يوسف: "نقوم بالخطوات التي كانت الأساس في الكونفرانس من حيث وحدة الصف والموقف، من أجل العمل على تشكيل وفد كوردي موحد في أقرب وقت، وسيعلن قريباً عن الوفد، وموعد توجهه إلى دمشق للتفاوض على حقوق الشعب الكوردي".

EU Imposes Sanctions on Individuals Involved in Syrian Coastal Events and Aleppo
ARK News.. The European Union has announced the imposition of new restrictive measures targeting two individuals and three military factions in response to human rights violations committed in Syria’s coastal region Aleppo.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the Council of the European Union confirmed that the sanctions were adopted under the EU’s Global Human Rights Sanctions Regime.
The newly sanctioned individuals are:
Muhammad Hussein al-Jassim (also known as Abu Amsha), commander of the Syrian Army’s 25th Division in Hama.
Saif Polad (also known as Abu Bakr), commander of the 76th Division in Aleppo.
Three military factions were also targeted:
Sultan Suleiman Shah Division
Hamza Division
Sultan Murad Division
According to the EU’s Official Journal, the measures include asset freezes within EU jurisdictions and travel bans on the individuals involved. The sanctions were enacted in response to violent operations carried out in March against members of the Alawite community in Syria’s coastal areas.
This move comes as the EU simultaneously announced a significant shift in its broader policy on Syria. In a separate decision, the Council of the European Union agreed to lift all economic sanctions imposed on Syria—measures that had previously impacted key sectors including finance and energy.
However, the Council clarified that sanctions related to security and human rights violations will remain in force.
"This dual-track decision reflects the EU’s effort to balance support for economic recovery in Syria with continued pressure on those responsible for rights abuses," the Council stated, following recent discussions among EU foreign ministers.

ARK News.. The Furat Center for Studies has honored the Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria (PDK-S) in recognition of his efforts in serving the Kurdish people, advancing the national Kurdish cause, and fostering unity among Kurdish political ranks.
On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, a delegation from the Furat Center, led by the Center’s Director Dr. Abdelilah Mustafa, visited the PDK-S office. They were received by Mohammad Ismail, Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria and President of the Kurdish National Council (KNC).
During the visit, the Furat Center presented an honorary award to Mohammad Ismail, commending his dedication to the Kurdish people, his leadership in unifying the Kurdish political position, and his active participation in the Kurdish Unity Forum. The forum, hosted by the Furat Center for Studies, explored strategies for enhancing Kurdish unity and its future prospects.

Suleiman Oso: The Joint Kurdish Delegation Is Tasked with Negotiating the Rights and Future of the Kurdish People in Syria
ARK News.. Suleiman Oso, a senior member of the Kurdish National Council (KNC) in Syria, stated that the delegation from the Democratic Union Party (PYD) set to visit Damascus is responsible for negotiating issues related to the Autonomous Administration, while the joint Kurdish delegation’s mission is to negotiate the rights and future of the Kurdish people in Syria.
Commenting on recent media reports about the delegation heading to Damascus, Oso clarified on his personal Facebook page:
“The delegation being mentioned in the media represents the Autonomous Administration and includes Arab, Kurdish, and Assyrian Syriac members. Its mission is to negotiate matters specific to the Autonomous Administration.”
He continued: “As for the delegation approved by the Kurdish Conference held in Qamishlo on April 26, 2025, its mandate is to negotiate the rights and future of the Kurdish people in Syria.”
Oso emphasized that there will be coordination between both delegations regarding issues that concern the Kurdish people.
He also noted that the joint Kurdish delegation approved by the Qamishlo conference has not yet been formally announced, adding that its formation will be made public in the coming days.

Ahmad al-Sharaa: Syria’s Reconstruction “Has Only Just Begun”
ARK News.. Transitional Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa has declared that the country’s reconstruction—after years of devastating war— “has only just begun,” urging citizens to unite behind the national effort.
Speaking at an event titled “Aleppo: Key to Victory”—held in the country’s economic capital—al-Sharaa addressed the nation with a message of determination and hope.
“O great Syrian people, the battle of rebuilding has only just begun,” he said. “Let us join hands and place our trust in God to build a bright future for an ancient land and a people who deserve it.”
The president continued: “Let us seize this unique opportunity and fully commit to the responsibility before us.”
Reaffirming a rallying cry from earlier in the transitional period, al-Sharaa concluded: “Let our motto remain as it always was—no rest, no pause until we rebuild Syria and present her to the world with pride.”

أحمد الشرع: إعادة إعمار سوريا "قد بدأت لتوّها"
أعلن الرئيس السوري الانتقالي أحمد الشرع أنّ إعادة إعمار بلاده التي دمّرتها سنوات الحرب الطويلة "قد بدأت لتوّها"، داعيا مواطنيه إلى الوحدة.
خلال فعالية أقيمت تحت عنوان "حلب مفتاح النصر". وحلب، العاصمة الاقتصادية للبلاد قال الشرع في كلمة "أيها الشعب السوري العظيم، إنّ معركة البناء لتوّها قد بدأت فلنتكاتف جميعا ونستعن بالله على صنع مستقبل مشرق لبلد عريق وشعب يستحق".
وأضاف الشرع في كلمته "دعونا نستثمر الفرصة السانحة ونأخذ واجبنا بحقّه".
وتابع الرئيس السوري: "ليكن شعارنا كما رفعناه من قبل، لا نريح ولا نستريح حتى نعيد بناء سوريا من جديد ونباهي بها العالم أجمع".
