Thomas: The earthquake exacerbated the crises facing the Syrians
ARK News... The US Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas Greenfield, confirmed that the earthquake disaster "has doubled the crises facing the Syrians."

الناشط الكوردي فلمز عثمان شارك في نشرة آرك الإخبارية قال فيها إن عدد الوفيات جراء الزلزال المدمر في جنديرس تجاوز عتبة 700 شخص الإصابات بالآلاف وسط تفاقم للوضع الإنساني.
أضاف أن البحث جار تحت الأنقاض عن الضحايا وأغلب الأهالي مشرودون بين الحقول الزراعية وفي البراري.
وناشد كافة المنظمات الإنسانية والخيرية لتقديم المعونات والمساعدات إلى جنديرس وعفرين وكافة متضرري الزلزال المدمر.

المجلس المحلي في عفرين: سد ميدانكي آمن
آرك نيوز... بتوجيه من مجلس عفرين المحلي ومشاركة مكتب المهندسين في عفرين ونقابة المهندسين السوريين الأحرار, قامت لجنة هندسية مختصة بالكشف على سد ميدانكي في ناحية شرا في مدينة عفرين بكوردستان سوريا, للكشف عن السد بعد تعرضه للزلزال.
وقال المجلس المحلي في عفرين: "تناول جسم السد من العمق وسطح السد حيث ظهرت التشققات بعد الزلزال الأخير الذي ضرب المنطقة والنتيجة الأولية سلامة السد في العمق، وأن الجدران خالية من أي تسرب والبوابات سليمة من التصدعات".
وأكد الفريق الذي ضم مهندسين كانوا قد أشرفوا على تنفيذ السد أنه مصمم على تحمل الزلازل بشدة تصل الى 8 درجات وفقاً للمجلس المحلي.

وقال بشار في تصريحات خاصة لـ ARK: "نحن كقیادة الحزب الديمقراطي الكوردستاني - سوريا في إقليم كوردستان وضعنا المأساة وضحايا الزلزال المدمر في مدينة عفرين وجنديرس بكوردستان سوريا, نصب أعينا ومن أولوياتنا".
تابع "أبدينا أولوياتنا في عفرين وجنديريس لأن تركيا مشغولة بضحاياها والنظام السوري غير آبه لما يجري في عفرين ولم يكترث للوضع هناك".

World Health expects 23 million people to be affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria
ARK News… The World Health Organization (WHO) emergency official, Adelheid Marchand, predicted, on Tuesday, that the number of people affected by the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria would reach "23 million people, including 1.4 million children."
