A Statement on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the March 12, 2004 uprising

ARK News: On 12 March is the 15th anniversary of the March 12, 2004 uprising, that uprising, which came a decisive response to the Chauvinism attack that targeted our Kurdish people in Kurdistan, Syria by the authorities in the province of Hasaka which began firing live bullets at the Kurdish citizens in the stadium of the city of Qamishlo under the direction of the governor of Hasaka criminal Salim Kabol after the football match between al-Jihad team and al-Fitiwa team that coming from Deir Al-Zour where the masses of al-Fitiwa raised provocative slogans against Kurdish symbols in front of the security authorities in the city and harassing the masses of al-jihad team, and instead of the security services to play their role to respond to the attack and prevent the clash, they opened fire on the fans of al-Jihad team which led to the fall of more than twenty-eight martyrs and dozens of wounded and the arrest of thousands of Kurdish citizens without discrimination between children and the elderly and women, and some have died under torture and as a natural rebellion against this plot planned in advance, our people went out of the elder and the young in all the cities and towns and even the Kurdish villages in Kurdistan Syria and the areas of its presence in some Syrian cities with peaceful demonstrations to protest against this conspiracy in the security services and racist motives to impose more racist actions and projects on the Kurdish people and to incite Arab public opinion against the Kurds, and this was evident by arming the Arab tribes in the province of Hasaka and inciting the looting and theft of Kurdish property.

O masses of our Kurdish people in Kurdistan and the Diaspora this anniversary comes and Syria in general and Kurdistan Syria, in particular, live in exceptional situations where international and regional interventions and terrorist organizations from all sides to settle their accounts at the expense of the Syrian people which has become more than a dozen million in the Diaspora suffering from the pains of migration, and despite this, the dictatorial regime continues to insist on its security and military option in dealing with the Syrian revolution, which has gone through many stages, and shows day after day the conspiracy against this people and the double standards of the countries concerned in the Syrian situation, and despite this, the dictatorial regime continues to insist on its security and military option in dealing with the Syrian revolution, which has gone through many stages, and shows day after day the conspiracy against these people and the double standards of the countries concerned in the Syrian situation
