ARK News: The newspaper "The Guardian" British, said that the leader of the ISIS terrorist organization, Abu Bakir al-Baghdadi, survived an assassination attempt launched by foreign fighters, last January, to coup him in his hideout in Syria.

The newspaper added that the terrorist organization set a reward for those who can reach the leader of the coup, and kill him.

The newspaper believes that the incident took place on January 10 in a village near a Hagen in the Euphrates river valley, where the Organization is trying to cling to the last piece of land it controlled in Syria.

Regional intelligence officials say a planned move against al-Baghdadi has led to an exchange of fire between foreign fighters and bodyguards, who took him away to the neighbouring deserts, according to the newspaper.

The newspaper revealed the name of the foreign fighter who tried to kill al-Baghdadi, known as Abu Moaz al-Jaziri, indicating that he is a veteran killer.
