Jarablis .. civilian killed under torture
ARK News: Activists from the northern Homs countryside on Wednesday 4/1/2019, revealed the incident of the killing of a young civilian under torture days ago, in the detention of the Military Police of the National Army militants in rural Jarablis eastern of Aleppo, and the incident sparked considerable controversy and demanded to hold accountable those responsible immediately.
The “Sham” network learned from close sources from the victim that the young "Muhannad Diyab al-Qasim" is civilian from the village of Talaf in rural Homs, died under torture in military police prisons, and handed over his body to his parents in Afrin region on the first of February
The sources pointed out that the young civilian, was within the control areas of the Assad regime in rural Homs Before being subjected to prosecution and succeed in going out to the countryside of northern Aleppo escaping from Assad forces, however, on 21 January he was arrested by the military police in the Jarablis region and spent time in its detention
The pictures, which were circulated by activists, show the victim subjected to severe torture, which led to his death, and this is the third case in less than a month of death under torture in opposition prisons in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
The Department of Military Police announced the formation of a committee of administrative officers, to follow up the incident of the death of the young "Muhannad al-Qasim", who comes from the province of Homs, and pledged to the police department to follow up the investigations, and the imposition of the most severe penalties to the involved and to refer anyone who is involved in this incident to the judiciary.
