ARK News: The veteran Republican Senator Lindsey Graham urged on Wednesday, 16/1/2019 the US President Donald Trump, to reconsider his decision to withdraw US troops from Syria, after a suicide attack that day which killed a number of American soldiers.

"I hope that President Trump will take a long and serious look at what we are doing in Syria," Graham said during a Senate confirmation hearing on Trump's nomination.

Graham who is the chairman of the Judiciary Committee of the US Senate said that the decision to withdraw American forces moves the enthusiasm of the enemy that we're fighting.

The organization of Da’esh has claimed its responsibility for a suicide bombing attack in a restaurant in Manbij, which killed about 20 people, including four US soldiers, along with many of the wounded.

Graham said: “Everyone wants our troops to come back home .. but it must be safe”.

US President Donald Trump announced last month that he was planning to withdraw some 2,000 US troops based in Syria and fighting remnants of a militant Da’esh organization.
