More Than 40 ISIS-Linked Families Transferred to Aleppo Countryside
ARK News.. The Syrian Arab Red Crescent announced the arrival of a new group of families described as relatives of ISIS members from Al-Hol Camp in the countryside of Hasaka to the “Yad al-Aoun” camp in the Akhtarin area of Aleppo’s northern countryside. This marks the second such transfer within a week.
According to statements published on its official platforms, 45 families arrived at Yad al-Aoun camp. The Syrian Civil Defense transported the families by bus, while its teams assisted in moving belongings using 18 trucks.
The Syrian Arab Red Crescent added that its teams distributed relief supplies to 340 families to address urgent needs, including mattresses, blankets, floor mats, kitchen utensils, coats and winter clothing, heaters, and rugs. The assistance was provided with support from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Syria.
