Damascus Announces New $38 Million South Korea-Funded Humanitarian Aid Package

ARK News.. Syrian media outlets reported the announcement of a new humanitarian aid package funded by South Korea, worth $38 million, to support vulnerable communities in Syria.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the projects will be implemented in partnership with four United Nations agencies to assist children and families across the country.

Under the plan, UNICEF will receive $15 million, the UN Development Program (UNDP) $10 million, the World Food Program (WFP) $10 million, and the World Health Organization (WHO) $3 million.

The aid package was officially unveiled during a ceremony at the Royal Samiramis Hotel in Damascus.
