Stolen Weapons Seized from Military Barracks in Rural Daraa
ARK News.. In a security operation targeting individuals involved in looting military barracks during the fall of the deposed Assad regime, Syria’s Internal Security Forces seized a large cache of weapons and ammunition in western rural Daraa.
According to the Syrian Ministry of Interior, the Security Directorate in Nawa received a tip from local residents about the presence of weapons in a house in the area. Security forces raided the location and confiscated a significant quantity of assorted weapons and ammunition.
The ministry added that investigations revealed the weapons had been stolen from military barracks during the regime’s collapse and were intended for “illegal trade.”
