Mohammad Hassan al-Sakkaf: Internal Recruitment a National Step to Address Hidden Unemployment in Syria
ARK News.. The Syrian Minister of Administrative Development, Mohammad Hassan al-Sakkaf, emphasized that the internal recruitment system is not merely an administrative measure but a national step aimed at tackling hidden unemployment.
In a post on the social media platform X, al-Sakkaf stated:
“When we direct qualified staff to the right positions, we revitalize institutions, provide employees with a genuine opportunity to develop their skills, and enable them to contribute effectively to nation-building.”
He explained that the internal recruitment mechanism allows permanent employees to transfer to vacant positions in other public institutions, provided they secure approval from their current employer.
According to the minister, the goals of internal recruitment are to:
Curb administrative inefficiency and enhance the performance of the public sector.
Ensure fair distribution of human resources.
Accelerate the process of meeting staffing needs within public institutions through redeployment of existing employees.
