Joe Wilson Calls for Lifting U.S. Sanctions on Syria
ARK News.. U.S. Republican Congressman Joe Wilson, along with the Syrian American Alliance, has called for the repeal of sanctions imposed on Syria under the Caesar Act.
In a post on the social media platform X, Wilson stated: “Congress must support President Donald Trump and approve a full and comprehensive repeal of the Caesar Act,” praising the efforts of U.S. Special Envoy to Syria Thomas Barrack for advancing peace in Syria and Lebanon.
For its part, the Syrian American Alliance said in a statement on X: “With persistence and determination, we continue our efforts to lift the sanctions and pave the way for peace and prosperity in Syria.”
