Erdogan: Turkey Supports Syria’s Revival
ARK News.. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that his country will continue to oppose any attempt that threatens Syria’s security and territorial integrity.
Speaking on Monday, September 1, 2025, during the expanded session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, China, Erdogan said Turkey’s support for Syria’s revival, while preserving its unity and political cohesion, serves the interests of the entire region.
He stressed that Turkey will stand firmly against any move endangering the safety of its neighbor Syria’s territory.
Erdogan added that Turkey’s vision is based on resolving disputes through dialogue, diplomacy, and cooperation, with full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states.
