Damascus: Drug Shipment Bound for UAE Seized

ARK.. Syrian authorities announced the seizure of a drug shipment that was being prepared for smuggling into the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the Anti-Narcotics Department, in coordination with the Internal Security Forces in Damascus, confiscated 5,000 Captagon pills.
The shipment was reportedly concealed inside soap bars and was intended for trafficking to the UAE.
