EU Expresses Solidarity with Families of Enforced Disappearances in Syria

ARK News.. The European Union mission to Syria has expressed solidarity with families of victims of enforced disappearance, reaffirming Brussels’ support for the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Syria and the newly established National Authority for the Missing.
In a post on X, the EU mission stated: “On the International Day of the Disappeared, we reaffirm that every family has the right to truth and justice.”
It added: “The European Union supports the international commission and the National Authority for the Missing in Syria to ensure that truth, justice, and dignity remain at the heart of the country’s future.”
