World Food Program Implements Emergency Plan to Deliver Aid to Thousands in Southern Syria

ARK News.. The World Food Program (WFP) has announced the launch of an emergency operation to deliver food assistance to tens of thousands of families in southern Syria.
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), Khaled Osman, WFP Deputy Director, confirmed: "Rapid response efforts are underway as part of WFP's plan to reach 120,000 households in southern Syria this month."
Osman extended gratitude to local authorities and communities for their cooperation, which facilitated access to Suwayda and Daraa—areas heavily impacted by food insecurity.
