ARK News.. On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, President Masoud Barzani received Khamis al-Khanjar, head of the Sovereignty Alliance, at the Salahuddin Resort near Erbil.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the political situation in Iraq and the region, highlighting the ongoing crises and challenges facing the political process in Iraq.

The discussions also focused on ways to enhance coordination and cooperation among Iraqi political parties.
