Tom Barrack: Syria Deserves Stability, and Syrians Deserve Peace
ARK News.. The U.S. Special Envoy to Syria emphasized that diplomacy is the best path to end violence and build a lasting peaceful solution in Syria.
Posting on the X platform, Tom Barrack wrote: “Alarming violence has erupted in Sweida and Manbij, and Washington is proud to have helped mediate a solution in Sweida.”
He added that diplomacy is the most effective way to stop the bloodshed and build a lasting peace, noting that France is also participating in efforts to reintegrate northeastern Syria into a united Syria.
The U.S. envoy stressed that the way forward lies in the hands of the Syrians themselves, urging all parties to remain calm and resolve disputes through dialogue rather than violence.
He concluded his post by saying: “Syria deserves stability, and Syrians deserve peace.”
