Kurdistan Region Presidency Condemns Attacks on Infrastructure and Vital Sites
ARK News.. The Kurdistan Region Presidency has condemned in the strongest terms the drone attacks targeting infrastructure and vital areas in the Kurdistan Region, holding the Iraqi federal government responsible for taking urgent and necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such assaults.
Below is the text of the statement:
The Kurdistan Region Presidency strongly condemns the drone attacks targeting the Region’s infrastructure and vital sites. In this context, oil fields in the Khormala and Sarsing areas have been targeted over the past two days.
We hold the Iraqi federal government responsible for taking urgent and necessary measures to prevent the repetition of these attacks, to identify the perpetrators, and to hold them accountable under the law. Such attacks not only threaten the security and stability of the Region but also undermine Iraq’s sovereignty and jeopardize the local and foreign investment environment.
