International Coalition Conducts Military Drills at Qasrek Base in Hasaka Countryside
ARK News.. The U.S.-led International Coalition continues to carry out military exercises at its bases in the Hasaka countryside, aimed at enhancing the readiness and combat capabilities of its forces.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, multiple explosions were heard around midnight on Sunday–Monday, June 8–9, 2025, at the Qasrek military base in the Hasaka region. The blasts were the result of live-fire drills involving attack helicopters and simulated target strikes designed to sharpen operational preparedness.
Similar exercises were conducted at the same base on June 7, during which Coalition forces also used live ammunition and helicopter support as part of ongoing efforts to improve combat readiness and field coordination.
