Kurdish National Council Leadership Receives U.S. Activist Nadine Maenza
ARK News.. The leadership of the Kurdish National Council (KNC) in Syria met with prominent American activist Nadine Maenza to exchange views on the general situation in Syria and the future of the country.
On Thursday, April 17, 2025, the KNC leadership welcomed Nadine Maenza—an advocate for religious freedom, human rights, and civic movements—at its headquarters in Qamishlo.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the broader political landscape in Syria following the fall of the regime and the aspirations of the Syrian people. They also explored prospects for Kurdish unity, including the development of a shared political vision and the role of religious diversity in Kurdish-majority areas.
