Qamishlo: The Kurdish National Council Holds Workshop on "The Art of Political Negotiation and Its Importance"
ARK News.. The Legal Committee, in collaboration with the Women and Children’s Office of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, organized a workshop titled "The Art of Political Negotiation and Its Importance" in the city of Qamishlo, in Syrian Kurdistan.
The four-day workshop, led by trainer Abdelilah Awoji, focused on negotiation principles, types, and strategies for preparing demands and their stages during the first two days. Participants also discussed effective dialogue techniques, engaging with opposing parties, identifying flawed arguments, and avoiding common negotiation mistakes.
On the third and fourth days, the workshop delved into presentation and bargaining strategies, finalizing agreements, the roles of negotiation teams, and the importance of body language in negotiations. Practical exercises were conducted to enhance participants' skills in managing responses from the opposing party.
