ARK News.. The Barzani Headquarters issued a statement denying claims made by Iyad Allawi during a political gathering regarding the alleged opening of a branch of the Ba'ath Party in the Kurdistan Region.

Clarification from Barzani Headquarters
During a political event on Saturday, February 15, 2025, Mr. Iyad Allawi made allegations about the opening of a Ba'ath Party branch in Kurdistan.
We would like to clarify that while the doors of Kurdistan and Erbil are open to all Iraqi citizens to live freely, the claims made by Mr. Iyad Allawi about the establishment of a Ba'ath Party branch in Kurdistan are entirely baseless.
We also express our astonishment at such statements and question the motives behind spreading these false claims.
