Nechirvan Barzani Arrives in Germany to Attend Munich Security Conference
ARK News.. Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, arrived in Germany on Thursday, February 13, 2025, to participate in the Munich Security Conference.
According to Dilshad Shihab, spokesperson for the Kurdistan Region Presidency, “President Nechirvan Barzani has arrived in Germany to attend the Munich Security Conference.”
Shihab noted that during the three-day conference, Barzani will hold a series of meetings with leaders and senior officials from participating countries. He is expected to discuss and exchange views on the relations between the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and these countries, as well as the latest developments in the region.
The Munich Security Conference, one of the world’s leading annual forums, addresses current international challenges, including terrorism, armed conflicts, arms proliferation, and the impact of climate change on global security.
The conference gathers a broad range of participants, including heads of state and government, alongside leading experts and decision-makers in politics, diplomacy, and security.
