Barzani Charity Foundation Commemorates Second Anniversary of Afrin and Jinderes Earthquake by Planting 1,000 Trees
ARK News.. The Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) marked the second anniversary of the Afrin and Jinderes earthquake by planting hundreds of trees with the help of local residents.
In a statement on its official Facebook page, the foundation announced that on Thursday, February 6, 2025, it launched a large-scale tree-planting campaign in Afrin to commemorate the devastating earthquake that struck the region on February 6, 2023.
According to BCF, the initiative involved planting 1,000 trees in Afrin in collaboration with local community members.
Since the earthquake hit northern Syria in 2023, the Barzani Charity Foundation has been continuously providing various forms of assistance to the residents of Afrin and its surrounding areas.
