Secretary of PDK-S calls for the necessity of activating the political process in Syria

ARK News.. The Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria stressed the importance of creating an appropriate environment to create a kind of stability in the region under international supervision to alleviate the suffering of the Syrians.

Muhammad Ismail, Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria and member of the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, on Friday, August 16, 2024, met with the Local Council of the Kurdish National Council in "Urfa".

During the meeting, the latest political and field developments and regional and international developments in general, and in Syria in particular, were discussed.

The Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria called on the international community to activate the political process in Syria and implement effective mechanisms to ensure the implementation of relevant international resolutions.

He stressed the importance of creating an appropriate environment to create a kind of stability in the region under international supervision to alleviate the suffering of the Syrians.

The role of the Kurdish community abroad was also highlighted, as they are considered ambassadors of the Kurdish and Syrian national cause and the responsibilities that lie with them.

The need to empower youth in political life was emphasized to ensure their effective and influential participation in decision-making.
