
Afrin.. Arresting two Kurdish citizens, one of whom is disabled
ARK News.. In continuation of their violations against citizens, armed factions arrested two Kurdish citizens in Afrin region of Syrian Kurdistan.
A special source told ARK News that elements of the Border Guards faction led by Salem Jambaz, which is part of Faylaq al-Sham, arrested two Kurdish citizens on August 6, 2024, one of whom is disabled (his hands and one of his legs are amputated) in the village of Midan Akbas of Rajo town in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan. They are:
- Zakaria Horo, 60 years old (disabled).
- Ziad Horo, 25 years old.
According to the special source, the two citizens were arrested on charges of grazing their sheep near the border areas with Turkey, and their fate remains unknown.
