Syrian Democratic Forces kidnap a Kurdish minor in Al-Shahba rea

ARK News.. As part of the policy of terrorizing children, robbing them of their childhood, and throwing them into forced recruitment camps in the areas they control, the Syrian Democratic Forces kidnapped a Kurdish minor in the Al-Shahba area in the countryside of Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Network said that militants from the Revolutionary Youth Movement affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces kidnapped the minor Maryam Adham Ibo, 17 years old, in Al-Shahba area in the countryside of Aleppo Governorate, and took her to forced recruitment camps.

The source explained that the kidnapped minor comes from the village of (Za’re) affiliated with the Bilbile town in ةAfrin city in Syrian Kurdistan, and all attempts by the family of the kidnapped girl failed, as the parties and departments affiliated with the PYD administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces that they consulted denied knowing the fate of the girl and her whereabouts.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, said in a report entitled "Children and Armed Conflict" issued on June 3, 2024, that the Syrian Democratic Forces and affiliated parties recruited (462) children in the areas they control during the year 2023.
