Saeed Jardo, head of the Lalish Cultural and Social Centre, on Sunday, August 4, 2024, said that the financial assistance that will be distributed by decision of Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, includes all Yazidis who were rescued from ISIS, including those who immigrated outside Iraq.

Jardo added that Yazidi survivors residing abroad can fill out an online form that will be published later in the Lalish Centre.

According to the head of the Lalish Cultural and Social Centre, Yazidi survivors from Sinjar can visit the Lalish Centre every four days to receive financial assistance, by forming a special committee for this purpose.

Survivors can receive financial assistance according to the distribution of regions and receiving days:

- Sunday 4/8/2024 Sharia District.

- Monday 5/8/2024 Khanke District.

- Tuesday 6/8/2024 Shekhan.

- Wednesday 7/8/2024 Dera Boun.

According to the United Nations, 2,847 Yazidis are still missing, in addition to an unknown number of missing persons from other communities, and it is likely that many survivors are still being held, and may not reveal their identities due to fears of revenge and separation from their children.
