ARK News.. The head of the Barzani Charity Foundation stressed that the foundation will continue to provide aid and assistance to those affected and afflicted.

On the occasion of the nineteenth anniversary of the founding of the Barzani Charity Foundation, which falls on August 4 of each year, Musa Ahmed, head of the Barzani Charity Foundation, said in a press conference: "The Barzani Charity Foundation has been able to provide assistance to many of those affected in countries that have faced problems, and is considered the hope of all Kurds."

Musa Ahmed pointed out that there are many great achievements made by the Barzani Charity Foundation, stressing that the Foundation has more future projects.

About the Barzani Charity Foundation:

The Barzani Charity Foundation is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit organization that works in the humanitarian field in the Kurdistan Region-Iraq. Managing camps for the displaced and refugees, providing aid and needs for those exposed to crises, and helping people with special needs and orphaned children (dear ones) are among the most important works of the Barzani Charity Foundation.

The foundation has been working in light of Barzani's immortal saying "It is an honor for a person to be in the service of his people" since its establishment and it continues to provide its services.

It was established in 2005 in Erbil Governorate, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, and is now a member of the European Union and in the United States of America it has an official office, and Mr. Masrour Barzani is the Chairman of the Founding Board of the Barzani Charity Foundation.

The Barzani Charity Foundation has received an official license to work from the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government, and has also received an official license to work since 2016 in the United States of America.

In the administrative and coordination meeting of the United Nations in April 2016, they accepted it as a consultative member of the Economic and Social Council ECOSOC, and in April 2020 it received an official license to work from the British Charity Commission, and received a license to work as a charitable organization in the State of Kuwait.

The humanitarian work of the Barzani Charity Foundation has crossed the borders of the Kurdistan Region and the State of Iraq, and its work has reached "Turkey, Syria, Serbia, Australia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Yemen, Bangladesh, South Sudan, etc., serving humanity.

The activities of the Foundation are implemented by donors and in partnership with partners and volunteers, and the Barzani Charity Foundation reaches wherever humanity needs it.

The main office of the Barzani Charity Foundation is located in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region - Iraq, and wherever it needs to implement its projects, it opens an office.

In the month (1) of the year (2023) and in order to pay greater attention to its services in the field of management and charitable work, the Barzani Charity Foundation obtained the ISO (ISO 9001:2015) certificate.

The mission of the Barzani Charity Foundation is "delivering services and aid for peace and security for the environment and humanity."

The vision of the Foundation is: "We exert our efforts for a world free of poverty, in which people live in terms of necessary services, constructive education and a safe environment equally and fair.

Barzani Charity Foundation is committed to the policy of providing its charitable humanitarian services in a way that meets the needs of (orphans, widows, refugees, displaced persons, the needy, people with special needs and those with limited income) in a manner that satisfies them and the interested parties and is consistent with the laws and legislation in force, taking into account the internal and external factors affecting the institution by adopting a quality management system in a manner that is consistent with the quality requirements under the international standard (ISO 9001:2015) and working continuously to improve the system.
