Faisal Youssef: KNC does not know the date for the resumption of the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue

ARK News.. The Kurdish National Council in Syria KNC confirmed that it is not aware of what the Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces announced about the resumption of Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue within a certain period of time.

In a special statement to ARK News website, Faisal Youssef, the official spokesman for the Kurdish National Council in Syria (KNC), said: “The Kurdish National Council in Syria is not aware of what Mazloum Kobani, commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, announced about the resumption of the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue during the next month of August.”

Youssef added: There are no direct communications between the two sides of the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue, and the other party of the Kurdish dialogue, the PYNK parties, did not work to create an atmosphere of restoring confidence and the appropriate environment for returning to the negotiating table, which America calls for in all meetings with them, in order to support stability.

During an interview with the Hawar Agency affiliated with the PYD administration, Mazloum Kobani, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, said that the Kurdish National Unity Parties and the Kurdish National Council in Syria have reached a common point of view, and it is very possible that the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue will resume next August.
