Masrour Barzani receives an official invitation to participate in the COP29 conference in Baku

ARK News.. The Presidency of the Kurdistan Regional Government received an official invitation from the Presidency of Azerbaijan to the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government to participate in the Summit of World Presidents, scheduled to be held in Baku.

Safin Dizayi, official of the Foreign Relations Department of the Kurdistan Regional Government, on Monday, July 22, 2024, said in a blog post on his official account on the “X” platform: “Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, has received an official invitation to attend the (COP29) conference, which it will be held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku.

Safin Dizayi added that he received Nasir Mammadov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iraq, and they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two sides.

Dizayi explained that the Azerbaijani ambassador to Baghdad delivered an official invitation from his country to the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, to attend the (COP29) conference, which will be held in Baku.
