Turkey announces the date of closing the area of operations in southern and western Kurdistan, "Iraq and Syria"
ARK News.. The Turkish President revealed an imminent end to the operation carried out by Turkish forces against the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in the Kurdistan Region, and Syrian Kurdistan, "Iraq and Syria."
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on Saturday, July 13, 2024, said in front of young graduates of the Military Academy in Istanbul: “We will very soon complete the closure of the area of operations in the Kurdistan Region.
Emphasizing the directing of painful blows to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), and completing the stuck points in the security belt along the Turkish border with Syria.
Erdogan indicated that his country is determined to eliminate any structure that would pose a threat to it along the borders with the Kurdistan Region, Syrian Kurdistan, “Iraq and Syria.”
