Iranian militias target the American military base in the Konico gas field in Deir Ez-Zour

Syrian media outlets said that explosions were heard in the Deir Ez-Zour countryside, resulting from a missile bombardment carried out by Iranian-backed groups that targeted the American base at the Konico gas plant north of the city of Deir Ez-Zour, but no information was received about human casualties.
On Saturday (24/2/2024), Iranian-backed groups targeted the American military base in the Al-Omar oil field with a missile salvo.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, American bases inside Syrian territory have been subjected to 121 attacks since October 19, 2023, by Iranian-backed militias.
